The five times I failed at making a DYAD Industries badge and the one time it worked. Further proof that no matter how experienced a DIYer you think you are, shrink plastic will do what it wants. #OrphanBlack #Cosima #cosplay for #SDCC14
UNICEF’s Tap Project essentially means that FOR EVERY MINUTE YOU DON’T USE YOUR PHONE, A DAYS WORTH OF WATER WILL BE GIVEN TO A CHILD IN NEED. The sponsor for this event is Giorgio Armani.
All you have to do is go to uniceftapproject.org ON YOUR PHONE and let the timer run and you will be helping a child in need! FRESH WATER IS VERY IMPORTANT AND YET IT IS NOT AVAILABLE TO EVERYONE. Please do this because it is quite easy to do and won’t cost you a thing!
Note: For those of you who find it hard to avoid using your phone, I suggest you run it while you sleep. :) Thank you!
I don’t usually do this, but I just want to signal boost this kickstarter in the hopes that it might make it. This is going to be a solely oil-painted-by hand-on-stretched-canvas animation and the little previews already look pretty awesome. Film is to be made by Break Thru Films studio. This integration of fine-art and animation just looks amazing. (I personally would love to work on something like that hahaha :P)
This is really, really cool for a lot of reasons. No matter how good the film ends up being, just being made would be an incredible triumph. Imagine a future of hand-painted films! That’d be so cool! Artistic breakthroughs like this can only happen with a concerted effort, so spread this around. The kickstarter ends on February 6th!
